Church view....

Not sure if any of you had noticed but in front of The Sharon Congregational Church there was two maple trees. The northern one of the two was in tough shape. Part of it was already dead and gone, and what was left wasn't very healthy and its shape was gone. I lobbied for removal of this tree for a long time, and today it all came down. Many thanks to The Monroe Tree Company and the Sharon Town Crew for removing an eye sore and a potential safety issue, what with its dead branches.

Last year the church hired Jessie Loucks and had the facade and the steeple lit with a nice passive lighting. Tonight was the first time that we have been able to really see the work that Jessie did on this historic building. Thought that I would share a quick shot I took on my way home this evening.

  1. Just beautiful, Rick! Glad that the old tree came down before it landed on the church.
