Recently drove upon this stand of sunflowers. The road travels alongside the fields for more than half a mile, probably close to a mile, and the flowers bordered the road the whole way.(and that's a LOT of sunflowers!) They were about twenty-feet deep, with corn planted on the rest of the field. Guessing they must harvest and dry and then do what with that many? Or, do they put it into silage and just feed along with the grasses and such? Come on readers. Educate me.
?????????????? Good Question.
