Bet you weren't expecting this when you saw that title, huh! I was down visiting my Mom and Dad's headstone at hillside the other morning when I saw a shadow swoop low over head. I looked up, and boy did I have company! Some of Sharon's
carnivores roost in the tall pines there, and before they start their daily hunts they soak in the warmth from the morning sun.
They smell lovely, too. I call the turkey vultures "mortivores." They like their meat ... uh ... well seasoned.
