It looks like deer have that walking in a straight line down pretty well, except for one bend in the middle. The leader must have turned to look behind or something for a moment...
I remember the deer jumping my picket fence and crossing my long backyard. I knew that this had been the deer path to the brook and onward for, probably, 100's of years and, probably, would continue even if humans disappeared. They have a longer history here than we have by millions of years.
