~A few years back, some smart person in my church started an annual event. Pie Sunday! Anyone who is willing, brings in a pie of their choice to be shared by all after our church service. Their are fruit pies, quiches and more. Yours truly helped his loving wife weave the top of a great cherry pie. A grand time was had by all!

ReplyDeleteI never, never can get the weave right! IT comes out like some crazy art project that missed ;-p Just baked a strawberry rhubarb pie last night. Strawberries from CA but rhubarb from our local farmer's market (soon you can say the same thing with your new market!).
