Roadblock

and power outage! The winds picked up Sunday afternoon, and down came a tree right at my driveway. Blocking the road, it pulled the wires so strongly, it snapped the top part of the first pole down in our home. That all happened around 1 to 1:45pm. Our power finally came on around 12:15am Monday. Obviously a new pole had to be placed, and an anchor pole as well, so it took time. (it was Sunday--Overtime!) No one go hurt, but it does make for inconvenience with so many things in our lives dependent on electricity. Thus, no blog Sunday evening. Thanks to The Bartram Inn for a really great  turkey dinner on Sunday evening!
